Hello, I'm Ariana
In a state of panic, I left my nice cushy american job living in Hawaii as a graphic designer, and moved to Portugal alone to find myself and slow down.
It was a story that was birthed in 2020 in a time where everyone had a feeling of hopelessness.
Finally in 2025 I took the time to write and illustrate this book.
About the Book
A World Within follows a young girl who, after losing her beloved grandmother, drifts into a magical dream world with her loyal dog. Together, they wander through surreal landscapes of light and shadow; guided by memory, love, and wonder.
Each page pairs a vibrant illustration with a poem, creating a reading experience that is both imaginative and healing. Inspired by my connection to my grandmother and my years of solo travel, this book is a story of resilience, love, and the timeless bond between generations.
